I looked at this drawing again this morning with a cup of coffee in hand, and saw it needed a background to make it whole and ground it a little... then I decided the font wasn't as readable as I'd like, and picked a different one... then I threw on a color splash and thought - 'this could be the cover'. It might end up being the cover. It's growing on me quite rapidly.
I like this version of your style. The only "note" I'd add is that I had a little trouble seeing the "face" on this character for a bit. Could be just me tho :)
ReplyDeleteMy wife had the same feedback - The idea was a helmet with a nose guard but it's hard to see that. I'll be editing it with either no helmet or a regular cap-style helm.
